Costa Rica Service starts in San José but is based in San Isidro de Coronado, a small community just northeast of the capital, where groups help to better the lives of disadvantaged populations. Groups also travel north to Volcán Arenal, visit and volunteer in Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean Coast and end with two days of rafting the Pacuare River before flights home.
