Alpine Challenge Map
Alpine Challenge starts in Geneva, Switzerland, before traveling to Gstaad by train and bus. The group starts with a few day hikes out of Gstaad to get over jet lag and to get acclimated. From here the group begins a though-hike of the Alpine Pass Route through the Bernese Oberland ending in Grindelwald. Another train transports the group to the Swiss/French border near Mont Blanc where they begin another through-hike of the famous High Route, ending near the Matterhorn in Zermatt. In Zermatt groups climb to the summit of the Mettelhorn before heading back to Geneva for celebration at trip end.
