Blue Ridge Explorer starts in Charlotte, North Carolina. From here groups travel by van to hike in Pisgah National Forest, kayak the Nantahala River and white water raft the Chattooga River along the border of Georgia and South Carolina. After a challenging hike to the summit of Mount Mitchell, groups return to Charlotte for celebration and trip end.
